Born and raised in Urbandale Iowa, Jared Nels is an expert bluegrass picker and yodeler who currently performs across the Southern California coast where he currently resides and spends many months of the year touring across the heart of America in several small towns and big cities alike. Jared was featured on American Idol Season 18 where he sang an original yodeling song, but he is most proud of his entire journey that has taken him across the country and into the ears of common folks.
