Special Cult Night Presentation: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
It’s time to kick the spooky season off with a bang…or should we say, a BUZZ! Join us on Saturday, October 4th for a special Cult Night presentation of the quintessential American horror film, 1974’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre! And while normally Cult Night is a double-feature, sometimes a movie is so notorious, so intense, and ultimately so damn good, that it only feels right to have it stand on its own. But while there’s only one feature-length presentation this time, any members of the audience brave enough to stick around after the credits roll will get to see a special Halloween treat. It’s the perfect way to stave off those pesky post-Chainsaw nightmares! As always, we’ll have specialty cocktails and cult movie night buttons on hand, plus pre-show entertainment loaded with killer country tracks, film facts, video clips and other cultural artifacts to get you ready for one of the scariest films ever made. Grab your ticket today and we’ll see you in the slaughterhouse… 7:30pm: Doors open & Cult Night pre show 8:00pm: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974), Directed by Tobe Hooper, Rated R Amidst a wave of bizarre grave robbings, a group of young people venture to a Texas graveyard to see if their grandfather’s corpse is among the disturbed. After a violent incident with a deranged hitchhiker, the friends realize that they have run out of gas and have no option but to rely on the kindness of strangers for a refill. In their search for help, they accidentally cross a family of cannibalistic psychopaths who attack them using a variety of gruesome methods including hammers, hooks, and most famously of all…a chainsaw.
